Your market potential

Give us your website address. We infer who you sell to, you correct it, and we count how many companies actually match.

Counts come from a company database, not from an estimate. Your sales figures stay in your browser.

The method

How this number is obtained

01

We read your website

A model goes through your pages and infers your customer industries, the company size you serve, the countries you target and the roles that decide the purchase. You correct every field before anything is counted.

02

We count, we don't estimate

Every number comes from a worldwide database of companies and professional contacts, queried the moment you ask. No market share percentage, no analyst report: company records, filtered by your target.

03

We derive a constraint

With your average deal size and the size of your team, the tool tells whether your limit is the market or your capacity to work it. That is what decides what comes next: widen the target, or industrialise prospecting.

Three perimeters

TAM, SAM, SOM: what we count here

TAM · the total market
Every company in the countries you target, with no other filter. This is the theoretical market, the one used as a denominator.
SAM · the market your offer can serve
Among them, those in your industries and within your customer company size. This is the perimeter converted into euros, using your average deal size.
SOM · the market you can prospect
Among those, the ones that actually employ the role that decides on your offer. This is the number of companies a team can contact tomorrow morning.
Limits

What the tool cannot do

  • French départements are not an available filter. Countries, regions and cities are.
  • Industries are those of the company database, not your national activity code. An industry missing from its list cannot be counted.
  • Revenue potential assumes 60 companies worked per person per month. Your meeting and closing rates are adjustable. It is an order of magnitude to decide with, not a forecast.
Questions

What we get asked

Where do the counts come from?

From a database of companies and professional contacts, queried live. The number shown is the number of records matching your target at the time of the request, with the date of the count.

Why is my SOM so close to my SAM?

Because the role you target exists in almost every company of your target, for instance “CEO”. The more specific the role, CFO, QHSE manager, production director, the tighter the SOM gets, and the more useful it becomes.

What happens to what I enter?

Nothing is stored as long as you don't leave an email address. If you leave one to read the detail, the measured target and the assumptions you set are attached to it, and you receive the summary.

How is this different from a market study?

A study starts from the top: a global figure sliced by percentages. Here we start from the bottom: we count companies one by one, from your actual target, and get a number a sales team can really call.
